Beyond Juicery + Eatery Honors Those Who Served

Military Appreciation Month

Military Appreciation Month

Every day, we at Beyond Juicery + Eatery strive to enhance the well-being of every community we serve through our mission to do what others won’t and focus on providing exceptional customer experiences. That's why we're excited to celebrate Military Appreciation Month this May! We’re proud to show our appreciation for the brave men and women who have served our country.

DONATE HERE

In celebration of our veteran’s dedication and service, we’re designating May 31 as a “free smoothie day” for active-duty military personnel and veterans. On this day, individuals with valid military/veteran ID can claim a complimentary smoothie in-store. Plus, a portion of every smoothie sold on May 31 will benefit Reunite the Fight.

All month long, our guests can donate $1, $5, or $10 when purchasing an item to support Reunite the Fight, a veteran-owned and operated non-profit committed to supporting U.S. Military Veterans. The group strives to reunite veterans and rekindle the bonds while giving them a platform to begin coping with the everlasting effects of PTSD and survivor’s guilt. Reunite the Fight has hosted 108 reunion trips and 21 community projects since 2017 while helping 1,181 veterans in the process. Their goal is to continuously increase outreach and help more veterans each year. We’re thrilled to be partnering with such an outstanding organization making a positive impact.

“As a brand, we believe in the importance of giving back, especially to those who have given so much for our country,” said Mijo Alanis, CEO and co-founder of Beyond Juicery + Eatery. “It is an honor to host this giveback for Reunite the Fight to show our support and express our gratitude for those who serve or have served. It’s amazing to see the community and our franchisees come together to rally behind such a life-changing cause.”

Building a Network of Military Franchisees

We’re thrilled to have veterans within our own Beyond family. Steve Alanis is a multi-unit franchisee and brother of our co-founder, Mijo. After serving in the Marines, Steve became an entrepreneur owning a successful sports bar called Vivo’s and multiple Beyond Juicery + Eatery locations throughout Michigan.

Going Beyond the Store with Community Giveback

We believe that it is our responsibility to support our neighboring communities, and we are proud to do so in a variety of ways. Through our Fuel Up for Funds program, we provide the local community with fresh, tasty food, but this initiative supports local organizations in raising funds for causes that are important to our franchise partners, employees, and guests. This program offers a convenient and refreshing way for your organization to earn 20% of all sales from both online and in-store fundraising.
